Is the event suitable for disabled visitors?
Yes. Please do bear in mind that our events do get very, very busy and the show floor can be difficult to manoeuvre. You can check with the venue for access.


How can I order tickets?

Can I buy admissions at the door, or do I have to buy them in advance?
Limited number of tickets will be available at the door, but you will not be able to purchase the pre-order autographs, photoshoots, discounts or VIP tickets, and the live to buy admissions at the event is generally long.

What do the VIP tickets give me?
It gets you into the con quicker than everyone else! Further details TBC here

What happens if a Celebrity cancels?
If a celebrity cancels, you might be eligible for a partial refund of the ticket fee (as per event’s Terms & Conditions).

What is the deadline for ordering priority tickets?
Priority VIP tickets will only be available for a few weeks and none will be available for purchase on the day of the event.

I can’t print out my e-ticket! I never got the e-mail! I have lost the e-mail! – Will I not be allowed into the event?
Don’t worry, in the rare instances that this happens, you will need to bring your ID along with the debit/credit card you have used to purchase the ticket and everything will be taken care of at the event.

I didn’t actually buy the ticket, my mom did, and I don’t have I.D. How do I get into the Con?
In the very rare instances that this happens, all you need to do is go to the registration area and someone there will help you.

Will the tickets sell out?
Yes. There are a limited number of tickets available.

Can I re-enter the event if I leave?
Yes, you can. Your admission is good for the whole day, or the whole weekend/event (depending on the kind of ticket you have purchased).

What’s the difference between buying tickets in advance and buying them at the door?
The line to check in with advanced tickets is always shorter (or non-existent if you are a priority ticket holder) than waiting in line to buy a ticket and access the event.

I can’t make the show at all. Can I get a refund?
Unfortunately not. All admissions for the event are non-refundable. Also, all talent is subject to change, so no refunds are given for guest cancellations. However, if you have purchased a special add-on package, (which includes an autograph session, photo session or meet & greet) full cost of the add-on will be refunded if a guest cancels.

Can you tell me more about the free children’s admission?
Kids under 5 Years of age go free.


When will guests be announced?
We announce guests as soon as we have official confirmation of their attendance. Many of our fantastic guests have been announced already.

How do I meet my favourite star?
Guests participate in talks, panels, workshops and autograph/photograph sessions. Check out the event guide when it becomes published online to find out where and when your favourite guests can be found. Don’t forget to choose from available add-ons so you can meet and get pictures or autographs with your celebrity!

Why has my guest canceled?
All guest appearances are subject to their own working schedules. They may get called back to set earlier than planned or get booked for a film which means they can no longer attend.


Are there costume rules or guidelines?
Your costume and its accessories MUST comply with the laws of Gibraltar. Your costume cannot have any parts or accessories that can readily cause harm to you or any of your fellow attendees or other members of the public. No real weaponry (live firearms, sharp blades, etc.) may be carried inside the venue.

No parts of your costume can fire, spray, shoot, or ignite. Your costume must be appropriate for all ages. Apart from that, you should use common sense. If you have any worry that a part of your costume might cause a problem or get you thrown out of the convention, arrested, or injured, please leave it at home.

Can I advertise on your website, on your fliers, or in your program book?

Can I show up at the con and hand out fliers to your attendees?
No, you can’t. As the Convention Center is private property, soliciting at our event without our permission is illegal. When we spot you, you will be escorted out of the event.


What time do the doors open/close?
That depends on the show itself and the type of ticket you have purchased. You can check the opening/closing times by clicking here.

Are bags and backpacks permitted into the event venue?
Yes, they are. We do ask that you use common sense when toting them around, as some backpacks are large, bulky and unwieldy and can block aisles or knock into things when you turn around. Also, bags may be subject to search, so be sure you don’t have anything in there that you shouldn’t!

Can I bring a pet to the show with me?
Only Guide dogs are allowed by event organisers.


Who will be exhibiting at the event?
We announce exhibitors on our website and social media channels on the lead up to the event. A full exhibitor directory and floor plan will be released in the event guide which is published online two weeks before the event.

How do I buy things at the convention? Do the Dealers only take cash, or can I pay with a Debit/Credit Card?

That depends on the vendor. All of them, however, will accept cash payments. Be sure to ask what forms of payment they accept before agreeing to any purchases.

I want to set up a booth and sell at the event, who do I contact?
Check our pricing by clicking here and e-mail us at shop@gicc.gi to secure a retail/exhibitor stand, as only limited number of spaces are available on a pre-approval basis only.

When will I be able to set up my table/stand?
Set up will only be available the day before the event. Failure to set up the day before the event, forfeits all fees payable, which are therefore non-refundable.

Do I have to take my items with me at night, or can I leave them at my table after the event closes?
Yes, you will be able to leave items at your table after the event closes. Security will be patrolling the venue 24/7. However, we suggest that you take any expensive items away with you, as under no circumstances shall the organisers be held liable should any item become missing or damaged.

Bootleg Policy
The buying and selling of counterfeit/knock-off/unlicensed materials is not tolerated by the organisers. GiCC is a celebration of the best of popular culture, and bootlegs have no place in the show. Violation of this rule will result in one and only one warning. A second violation and you’ll be removed from the show.
